The spanking warmup

 

 

The spanking warmup is a time of pleasure for both top and bottom. The beginning of a scene, with its attendant excitement and anticipation, begins or renews our physical and emotional connection. The warmup is different for each person and changes over time, and it is not merely a period in which the intensity of the spanking increases gradually. Wonderful warmups are one of the reasons that I love to bottom sometimes; but I’m speaking as a top here.

 

Here’s how I warm up a partner who has always dreamed of being spanked but never experienced it in person. This warmup has distinct phases, each with a purpose, and her responses follow a predictable pattern.

The first phase is very mild, deliberately pain-free, and administered over some clothing. It allays her nervous flutters with comforting person-to-person contact, and includes some soothing (or stimulating) bottom rubbing. Her anxiety dissolves.

 

In the second phase I increase the intensity of the spanking gradually as she moves from normal consciousness toward subspace. She sinks into the experience as gratefully as one would settle into a luxurious reclining chair. She feels little or no pain.

 

At some point I lift her skirt or lower her jeans; later on I lower her panties so I can spank her bare bottom. These enjoyable duties are treats for us both that may occur at any stage.

 

The third phase is the transition to the real spanking. The pace and intensity of the smacks increase gradually and she thinks, or says, “Hey! this hurts!” for the first time. At each increment, there is new pain initially, then that level becomes her new normal and she is ready for the next increase in intensity.

 

When I am spanking hard the warmup is over and the real spanking has begun.

Just writing this I had to make a dozen choices as to what to describe as “typical”; there are so many other patterns one could follow. Try them all!
