Fans of spanking literature know how much is written about the use of the tawse in Scotland, but this is the first time I've corresponded with someone with first-hand experience. It all started with a short e-mail; many more followed.

I was brought up by strict parents who believed in bare bottom spankings I am nearly 60 and have visited a male friend for discipline, I wondered if this was due to the discipline I received as a child up until my last punishment at 19 years of age. My father and mother both believed in this type of punishment. I am not sure if you would like more details on how the spankings took place, but do you think it is because I possibly enjoyed it.

Our motivations for craving spanking are complicated . . . but if you possibly enjoyed getting punished by your parents, that would certainly explain it.
