I just thought I would just say that I can assure you when my bottom was being punished, it isn't something you ever forget, I am certainly not professing to remember every time it was given a good tanning as most of the time it was ordinary discipline, that we all received. Why do people make up stories, I usually think they just make themselves sound stupid. Without wanting to say people are liars would you agree that when they say 100 plus strokes is this not ridiculous. Without trying to embarrass you, or sound for want of a better word kinky, I had a little bottom when younger and still am fairly petite with a small bottom, as a teenager 6 across a bare bottom with the tawse was more than enough, although the strap could be a few more and the slipper and hand meted out until my parents thought my bottom was a good shade of red.
I thought I would just mention some of the stupid things I remember my parents saying -
Perhaps you in your wisdom can give me reasons for why they say it.
'Do you want a sore bottom'
'Do you want me to give you a spanking'
'Do you want your bottom bared'
'You young lady are asking for the - strap/tawse/slipper'
'Is your bottom sore enough, or do you need another dose'
'Bare your bottom young lady you have asked for a strapping'
‘Do you want me to give you a hard strapping'
'You are asking for the tanning of your life'
'Young lady you will be disciplined on the bare bottom with the implement I choose until you leave home, have you anything to say to that'
I could go on, but let us be fair as a youngster do you really think I am going to ask to have
any of the above?
Well enough for the moment, I will tell you about how I came to have adult discipline shortly, you are the first person I have shared my childhood memories with apart from my disciplinarian.

Re parental sayings, "Would you like me to hurt you in the following fiendishly painful ways?" . . . agreed, this is meant only to make you squirm, not to evoke an actual answer from you except perhaps "no, thank you very much!"
Intimate punishment -- punishment on the asshole or pussy -- is still practiced in some fraction of the homes in which children are still physically punished. Your descriptions of your childhood punishments are fascinating and perfectly appropriate, but I’m not going to comment on childhood spanking here apart from reiterating that I did not spank my children and have grave reservations about spanking as a disciplinary method today. But you are talking about a very different time.
Punishment on the intimate parts is very sexually evocative for some adults, who seek this out for pleasure or at least for excitement, although this is not much discussed. But I consider it a normal part of S&M play. You're not very explicit about what you'd like to discuss, but that's fine -- fire away!
