Party Preparations

Make plans to attend the great Bottoms Up weekend-long spanking event March 9-11. Come see old friends and make some new ones who share our delight in giving/getting spankings. Here are some highlights you can expect:

Buy cool stuff at our vendor fair: new toys, videos and other spanking related items. If you’re a vendor, here’s a great chance to sell your wares (no charge to be a vendor; however, you must be registered, and we’re asking each vendor to contribute a cool door prize for our drawing).

Interested in learning more about your favorite topic? We’ll have demonstrations with question/answer sessions on play and lifestyle issues, from some of our own experienced members.

See justice given to your favorite brat. Blatantly biased in favor of tops, the Spanking Judge will preside. Stern penalties awarded.

Great food! We’ll have pizza on Friday night, and a buffet supper, featuring tasty Texas favorites, on Saturday night.

A really cool, or should I say hot, spanking ice breaker, to help introduce people.

The deadline will sneak up on you sooner than you think. You must register and pay by February 28. Sorry, folks, but we will be unable to accept payment at the door for this event, due to the expenses involved. So go ahead and make your reservations to attend now while you’re thinking about it.

Fees and paperwork: Single females $40. Couples $80. Single males $90. Guys, this is your opportunity to help a spanko lady by paying her fee – and reduce your own fee too. You may pay in person at the January 20 munch, or you may mail us a check or money order. Sorry, we cannot accept payment at the door for this event. And we cannot provide a discount to anyone wishing to attend only one night of the party. If you’re not an official BU member, please remember to include your application form. If you’re already a BU member, please include your name and what you’d like to have on your nametag (scene name plus top/bottom/switch info) AND your email address to receive hotel info. Don’t assume that we just remember; Hobbsey for one has a highly developed forgettery. Thanks.

Recording Your Spanking

Sarah and I will set up our room as a studio, and we will record your spanking if you'd like that.

Bottoms Up, like almost all kink events, has an absolute ban on recording devices of any kind in the public areas. However, we have received permission from the organizers (thank you, Paul and Hobbsy!) to record, with careful conditions, in our room. Here are your options; for any of these, I'll want your written permission. I will have a form at the party. We will also record you using your own equipment if you'd like.

I have a high quality digital sound recorder. MP3 or WAV files take about a MB per minute of sound, so if your spanking lasts 5 minutes the sound file will be about 5 MBs. I will process the sound files and upload the file to a large file transfer online resource. Once you confirm that you've received it and can play it, I'll delete the original.

I have a Nikon 35 mm SLR digital camera. I can take photographs that are either anonymous, by which I mean no faces are included, or identifiable (with faces). In either case, I can either burn the pix to a CD and mail it to you, or resize the photos to about 1 MB each and send them to you via a large file transfer utility (probably DropLoad).

I am always looking for original spanking photos for this site. If, after viewing your photos, you're willing for me to use them, let me know. Otherwise I'll delete the originals.

I can also videotape your spanking, from any angle you choose. If I shoot from behind and to one side, neither face will be visible. I will give you the videocassette at the time of your spanking; I won't keep a copy.

I'm going to have pages dedicated to the weekend's spankings. Just let me know and I can help you set up a page just for you. An ideal spanking description includes both sound file and photographs, which can of course be anonymous.

This is not a commercial service; Sarah and I are going to be doing all the party things, so I won't be available for recording 24/7.

The best time to record your spanking will be on Friday from 7 till 10, and on Saturday from about 10 till about 9.

At about 9 PM Saturday (this timing is not fixed in stone) Sarah and I are going to both spank Satia, hard, in private, so the studio will be closed as of about 9 that evening.
